Solstice Festival 2003 to 2009
2009 we celebrated our 7th Parkland Solstice Festival. We've come a long way from our temporary, portable stage in 2003 to our current mainstage. Solstice 2003 was a great beginning to our annual community event. A handful of hardy volunteers and a featured performance by the Co-Dependants with Billy Cowsill paved the way. We sold a couple of hotdogs, maybe a few beverages, had our inaugural Disc Golf tournament and that was pretty much it. Oh yeah, we all got locked INTO the park at the end.
